--How We Got Started
Like most good business ideas, Copper Canyon Gear started out of frustration.
In 2023, I was spending $30/month on a gym membership I barely used. Between work, family, and the 25-minute drive each way, I was lucky to make it twice a week. I was throwing away nearly $600 a year and had nothing to show for it.
So I did what any frustrated person does—I bought some kettle bells & other equipment to work out at home.
The kettle bells were a bit awkward. The bands I ordered were so weak I was afraid to use them. The "Styrofoam roller" bent after three weeks. I'd spent good money on junk.
That's when it hit me:  There had to be a better way.
What if there was a store that actually tested equipment before selling it? A place that understood what home gym builders really need—not the fluff, not the gimmicks, just solid, dependable gear that'll last?
That's how Copper Canyon Gear was born.

Cheap equipment is expensive in the long run. We'd rather sell you something once that lasts 10 years than sell you junk five times. Most of our products come with 1-5 year warranties.
